  Great value, clean and well thought out. Convenient for station, and short stroll to tourist streets! Good host restaurant recommendations.

  The apartment was ideally located only three blocks in a straight line from the Takayama railway station which made our arrival in snowing conditions achievable without too much trouble. ... read more /> We managed the flight of stairs daily okay, and only had to manage our luggage in tandem twice, so this access point was not an issue.
A short walk and you will find restaurants, supermarkets and the historical traditional area of Takayama; very convenient for all you would want.
It was cosy as Yusuke’s listing said it was and I can report that it was comfortable with table and chairs and couch which made sleeping on the floor mattresses over tatami mat okay.
The kitchen facilities were comprehensive and we appreciated having a toaster too.
The bathroom and toilet facilities were of a high standard and was nice to be able to have a hot bath after walking in snowing Takayama.
We also liked that Yusuke provided Netflix on the TV which was the only time we experienced this in our 3 weeks in Japan.

  Great location to explore Takayama and to hop on the train / bus to adventure to nearby towns.

This place is so convenient, fully stocked amenities, very clean and super comfortable. There... read more is a leg massage chair for your tired legs. The beds were so comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
Yusuke is super helpful. We experienced the Noto Peninsula Earthquake here and he was so caring by sending us a message asking how are we. He even checked the bus schedule for us to see if it was affected. He recommended a nice shrine for Hatsumode. He is so responsive and kind. He even helped to carry my luggage up the 2nd floor.
We love and enjoyed our stay a lot. Highly recommended if you are visiting Takayama!
